My name is Michelle Parsons and I’m a florist farmer here in the beautiful Methow Valley. My background is in floral design. I’ve been a floral designer for 30 years in Seattle.
In 2019 I decided that I needed a change of pace in my life and was lucky enough to return to my hometown of Winthrop , Washington. With my extreme passion of flowers I decided to embark into growing flowers. For my own pleasure but also to share my passion of flowers with others.
I’m starting my third season of growing. It comes with its challenges when starting with raw land. It can be a lot of work but the beauty of the blooms and watching the birds, bees and dragonflies play and eat in the garden is so gratifying.
I specialize in growing dahlias. This year we will be growing over 125 different varities. In addition to dahlias, we’ll be growing zinnias, cosmos, assorted sunflowers, amaranth, strawflower, rubedeckia, echinacea, scabiosa and marigolds.
